A Tenor and a Soprano’s Christmas Wedding on the French Riviera
This unique winter wedding unfolded from Nice to Monaco, bringing together romance, music and the festive atmosphere of the season. The civil ceremony took place at Nice City Hall, followed by portraits along the iconic Promenade des Anglais.
The couple, tenor Jean-François Borras and soprano Cristina Giannelli, chose to weave their passion for opera into their wedding story. Beneath the Christmas lights of Casino Square in Monaco, they created a series of unforgettable portraits.
One of the most meaningful moments of the day was an intimate photo session inside the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, captured during preparations for The Phantom of the Opera. It was a deeply personal part of the story, where their artistic world became naturally intertwined with the celebration.
The day continued through some of Monaco’s most iconic places, including Café de Paris, Hôtel Hermitage and Hôtel de Paris, each adding elegance and timeless Riviera charm to this Christmas wedding between Nice and Monaco.
